With the commissioning of the new boiler house, we are taking a big step towards almost CO₂-neutral production.
In future, the required process heat will be obtained predominantly from the company's own waste material - spent hops. This will reduce the consumption of natural gas and heating oil by around 95 percent.
At the inauguration ceremony, we welcomed regional representatives as well as the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Hubert Aiwanger, who praised the project as a role model for sustainable industrial production.
